There is a lot of thought that goes into a new roof project, first you need to find out if you actually need to replace the shingles.
Once you have discover that it is time to replace your roof, you need to start searching on Google, Facebook, and anywhere else you can think of for a good roofer. In Edmonton, especially right now, you are experiencing a period of the “Boom Bust” Alberta economy that brings a lot of the oil economy out of the patch and into the “temporary” job market. So you have more options than ever in regards to selecting a roofing contractor.
Now can be a GREAT time to save some money, since there are a lot of handy guys looking for work and Roofing is a common “Side job” for the spring break oil worker. There are a lot of guys out there who know at least the basics.
That being said, you might feel comfortable with these guys doing the work on your home. That is fine, we know what makes us a cut above the rest in the roofing industry, but if we can be of any assistance we will be!

To make a long story short, Class 4 means that in testing they drop a 2″ steel ball, from 20 feet high, reaching a velocity of 70/mph on the shingle and observe no lasting damage to the shingle that might negatively effect water resistance and shingle life.
